The breakfast was excellent. The accomodations were very nice but the room we chose had a very small shower not for a bigger person. I was surprised to see the owner's each day and night welcoming us back upon entry back into our room. Since I am used to a little more privacy, this was a bit uncomfortable. I guess the owner's were just being hospitable. The house was decorated very nicely but no one received calls for us and we couldn't get a cell phone connection very well which is understandable in this area of Maine. The first night, we left a message we were to be late but when we got there, the owner didn't seem to relate to getting our message. He only stated that he was going to tack a note up that they were sorry they missed us. I had already given them 1/2 of the money and we were only 1 hour late. We drove from MD to Maine which is a very long haul. I enjoyed the stay and would recommend this house to anyone but let them know that the owner's check when they return f
