Deposit and Cancellation Policy - Your room is guaranteed with a deposit for one night's accommodation or, for longer stays, one half the total reservation. Refunds will be made for cancellations 14 days prior to scheduled arrival. A fee of $25 per night will be charged. Early departures fall within our cancellation policy. The 1900 Inn on Montford reserves the right to treat a partial cancellation as a cancellation for the entire stay. For some holidays and October - a 30 day cancellation will apply. When making a reservation, please remember that you are making a commitment to us and we are making one to you.

Smoking - The interior of the Inn is strictly non-smoking. Smoking is permitted on the grounds, the balcony of Zelda's Retreat and the gardens of the suites of Griffin Cottage.

Associations - We are members of the Asheville Legendary Inns Bed and Breakfast Association and founding members of the Asheville Bed and Breakfast Association. Lynn served on the board of the North Carolina Bed and Breakfast and Inns Assocation (NCBBI) for seven years, and was president of NCBBI for an unprecented three years. She has just started her second term as a board member of the Asheville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

The Inn is located in the heart of the Montford Historic District of Asheville, NC, just 8/10 mile north of downtown and 8 minutes from Biltmore Estate.

If you are approaching from the East, you will be traveling on I-40. You will leave I-40 at Exit 53B, signposted I-240, Downtown Asheville. Stay on I-240 until Exit 4C, signposted Montford Avenue. At the light, take a right onto Montford Avenue, We are 3/4 mile on the left, #296.

If you are approaching from the West, you will be traveling on I-40. Leave I-40 at Exit 46B, a left hand exit signposted I-240 Asheville. Stay on I-240 until Exit 4C, signposted Montford Avenue. At the light, turn right onto Haywood Street. Go to the next light (a block and a half). Turn right onto Montford Avenue. We are 3/4 mile on the left, #296.

If you are approaching from the South, you will be on I-26. I-26 becomes I-240 as it crosses over I-40. Stay on I-240, leaving at Exit 4C. Turn right onto Haywood Street. At the first light, turn right onto Montford Avenue. We are #296.

If you are approaching from the North on I-26, you will leave I-26 at Exit 25, signposted University of North Carolina Asheville. At the light, turn left onto Broadway. Go to the third light. Turn right onto Chestnut Street. You will see a Five Points Diner on your left before making your turn. Proceed thru two flashing yellow lights and at the first stop light, turn right onto Montford Avenue. We are 4/10 mile on the left, #296.

Turn into the driveway, proceed to the parking area behind the Inn. Park in any available space, come around to the front door, ring the bell, and we'll be there to check you in.
