Built in 1742, this beautiful building combines old world charm with all the modern amenities you would expect from a top class hotel.

All of our bedrooms are en-suite and furnished to a superior standard.

We also have an award-winning restaurant with the coveted AA 2 Red Rose - excellent hotel standard food but at modest prices in cosy surroundings.

We serve both bar and restaurant meals everyday between 12-2pm and 5.30-10pm, so you can choose anytime to fit in with your daily plans.

The cost of your accommodation includes a full Welsh breakfast (think of an English breakfast then add some more!). Please remember that every third night of your stay is completely free.

You can explore the historic town of Ruthin on foot. With it's castle and qaint streets filled with small shops stocked with every kind of local produce and craft products.

Ruthin is a convenient base from which to explore North Wales with it's magnificent scenery, historic castles and places of interest. The hotel also offers a free brochure service for residents on all major attractions.
