Nice enough single room. Bed comfortable, shower worked properly. Stayed Monday to Thursday so some early morning noise from other guests in Cardiff for work reasons. Stayed in a double on a previous visit including Friday and Saturday nights when noise from the function room in use for parties went on till 1am. The double room was nice though.

Nearby Attractions:

The Hotel is a few hundred yards from the Millennium stadium and we are within walking distance of all the bars and restaurants in the city centre. All the major venues for concerts and conferences are also within easy walking distance and the Cardiff Central Railway & Bus Stations are again only a few minutes walk.

Cardiff Bay is also a major attraction of the city with many trendy bars, comedy club as well as the superb waterfront. You can easily get to the bay from the hotel either by taxi; regular shuttle buses or you can go by water taxi. There is a stop just a few minutes walk from the hotel and you can enjoy a boat ride taking you into the heart of the bay.

If you are visiting Wales as a tourist the Wynford provides an ideal base from where you can explore the surrounding area whether it be the Taff Trail, Brecon Beacons or the Heritage Coastline. You can venture out in the day and be back in the city at night to sample the superb range of nightlife available.
