Woodgate House, Uttoxeter

Built in 1812 this lovely Georgian house is situated in a country lane a mile from the centre of Uttoxeter, a small market town on the Staffordshire/Derbyshire border. Situated adjacent to the 18-hole Uttoxeter Golf Club and close to Uttoxeter Racecourse we are ideally located for your visit to Alton Towers (15 minutes) or to the Derbyshire Peak District or Staffordshire Moorlands. Derby and Stoke-on-Trent are about a 20 minute drive.

We have two very spacious letting rooms, one en-suite and the other with its own private bathroom. With comfortable beds, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities plus a hearty breakfast you are sure of a relaxing stay.

Rooms are available from 5pm on day of arrival, vacated by 10am on day of leaving

Breakfast menu includes fruit juice, tea and coffee, choice of fresh fruit or cereal, toast and preserves. Choice of full English, or kippers and scrambled egg, or Staffordshire oatcakes with bacon and cheese, or Continental.

,br>We are very simple to find. From whichever direction follow signs to Uttoxeter racecourse (which is in Wood Lane) and travel half-mile along Wood Lane to a red post-box on left hand side. Woodgate House is directly opposite.
