With plenty of character offering a warm ambience with fabulous views. You’ll will find you are in a unique world. 25 restful acres of it to be precise, set between Exmoor & Dartmoor, with Moors, Valleys etc., a good starting point for your holiday. With in easy exploring distance you will find Watersmeet, Knightshayes Court, Rosemoor Gardens, the moors and the little shops of Barnstaple. Furthermore the acclaimed Eden project is only 90 minutes away in Cornwall.
In spring time, the cliff paths are quiet with the daffodils and primroses in abundance. Barnstaple in bloom is a must in Summer, with the gardens at Rosemoor in wonderful colour. In Autumn the leaves are at their best colour, with the beaches a lot quieter for those who like to walk. In Winter the log burners are blazing at “West Down” and the Village Inns, making it a time for the peace and quiet to relax.
