Welcome to The Wentworth Arms Hotel in Old Malton, North Yorkshire. The Wentworth is a traditional Coaching Inn with all the modern comforts you expect of contemporary accomodation, lounge and bar. The Wentworth is ideally based in the heart of North Yorkshire, perfect for exploring all the county has to offer.

We're located very close to the town of Malton and just 8 miles from Pickering where you can ride the traditional steam train. Flamingoland Theme Park is just 5 miles away. Other attractions close by are Kirkham Abbey, Castle Howard & Eden Camp. Ganton Golf Club, an excellent golf course is 7 miles way. Slightly further a field but all accessible within 30 minutes are the historic city of York, Goatland, Whitby & Scarborough.

The restaurant offers an exciting mix of traditional and classic cuisine and serves food Monday - Friday from 12-3pm, 6-9pm, Saturday and Sunday we open for breakfasts and serve all the way through to evening meals (Sunday until 7pm). The guest house was lovely and the food amazing however there was a bit of a mix up about the room that wasnt our fault and we were made to feel quite uncomfortable when we first arrived. Once resolved we really enjoyed our stay, the room was quirky (shower needs a de-scale though as the flow wasnt great) and the breakfast was amazing.

Very enjoyable long weekend away. Friendly atmosphere, very helpful staff, who couldn't have been more obliging. We were made to feel welcomed. Miles did a great job with the breakfasts and evening meals - he even offerred to clear our car of snow which had fallen during the night! All in all well worth a vist and we shall be calling in again.

Good value for money.Service good. Room facilities well prepared clean and adequate. This is an older period building and care is needed to negotiate the stairs.I was very satisfied with my overnight stay and would use the Wentworth Arms again.
