Waters Edge
On the shores of the Moray Firth and only 15 minutes scenic drive from Inverness, the 5 star Waters Edge B&B is idyllic... our beautiful gardens go down to the sea, a small pebble beach lapped by the gentle waters of the Moray Firth is just enchanting.

The sitting room has posy bowls of garden flowers, a unique haven of character and cosiness. When the log fire in the inglenook fireplace is going it is just such a relaxing place to be. Two windows in the sitting room have a spectacular outlook over the sea. French doors lead to a delightful courtyard, a wildlife pond and apple trees, the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or two on a summers' evening.

Our three double bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms each with a bath and shower are luxurious and very special....wonderfully comfy beds, fine linen and fluffy bathrobes. Each bedroom has a large balcony with truly magnificent views over the sea, the harbour and the hills towards Culloden.

Breakfast is a highland feast with many delightful choices for you to enjoy at the table over looking the sea.

Dolphins and seals are regular visitors to the waterfront at Water's Edge. Enjoy a wee dram and Scottish shortbread in the sitting room by the fireside on your arrival. We promise all a genuine warm welcome and Scottish hospitality at its very best ... peace, relaxation and warmth. Water's Edge is here for you to enjoy.

We have transformed this lovely house into a spectacular place to live, our many hours of hard work have been rewarded and we are delighted to have achieved our Five Star Scottish Tourist Award for an exceptional standard with Visit Scotland, which we had at our home, Millwood House in Inverness, before moving here.

The Kessock Bridge over the Moray Firth leading to Fortrose can be seen from the garden.

From the house there are frequent sightings of dolphins, seals and sometimes early in the morning sea otters can be seen on the shore or in the water at the bottom of the garden. Numerous sea birds and mallard ducks abound in the water's around us. The Fortrose yacht club is less than a minutes walk from the bottom of the garden at the harbour. If you enjoy fishing we always will have a spare rod for you to cast a line or two. The summer time will bring warmer waters for you to enjoy a swim in the sea then maybe while away a memorable moment or two just watching the waves and hearing them splashing over the pebbles
We would love to welcome you here to stay with us and for you to share all the wonderful things about living here.... It is spectacular.
