The great advantage of Watermead is that it is very quiet, in the middle of town and the service very professional. We were greeted warmly, the room was clean and fresh, the beds very comfortable, the bathroom ensuite clean and roomy. The tasty breakfast was served in a sunny breakfast room.

We had an excellent stay at Watermead. We were in Chard visiting family and to be told that we could come and go as we pleased was just brilliant. The rooms were lovely and the breakfast was delicious. Trudy and David were the perfect hosts.

I stayed at Watermead for one night whilst attending a wedding locally. The single room and bed were an excellent size (many single rooms can be the size of a cupboard) with en suite shower and loo. The room was very comfortable and after much experience of single rooms abroad, as I said, I was very pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and the view as it looked over the garden. Very comfortable. I didn't partake of the breakfast as I had breakfast back at the wedding venue and with the added bonus of parking included, overall I was very impressed. I as given a front door key as I returned very late from the wedding. The hosts, David and Trudi, were very welcoming and I would definitely stay there again.

All we could wish for in a guest house, would certainly use again in similar circumstances.
