Situated in the heart of Northumberland, on the river Wansbeck, in the historic market town of Morpeth, the Waterford Lodge is an 18th Century Coaching Inn which recently been substantially refurbished. The hotel comprises of 16 en-suite bedrooms, a stylish bar, restaurant and beer garden and has private parking facilities.
The Waterford Lodge is ideally located in Morpeth next to the historic, award winning, Carlisle Park, which is a superb background for wedding photographs. The Park has many sporting facilities for example - tennis, bowling, crazy golf and putting green. The hotel is also within a short drive of several major golf clubs including Linden Hall, Longhirst Hall, Morpeth and Burgham Park.
Morpeth is situated near an abundance of local tourist attractions such as the sandy beaches of Druridge Bay, Warkworth and Bamburgh and also National Trust and English Heritage sites at Hadrian's Wall, Wallington Hall, Cragside House, Holy Island, along with the Alnwick Garden, Lindisfarne and Bamburgh Castles.
