Waterford House Hotel
Overlooking the main square of Middleham in the North Yorkshire Dales, a delightful unspoilt village typical of the country, Waterford House is an enchanting Georgian Grade II listed small, fully licensed, private hotel with superb en suite accomodation. We are located close to Ripon, Harrogate and York and are within close proximity to no less than five racecourses.

Clay Pigeon Shooting is available locally as well as discounted Green Fees at the local Golf Course. On entering visitors will not find a formal reception desk, but a warm friendly welcome, which emphasizes the relaxed atmosphere projected throughout.

Guests can sample the superb cuisine prepared from fresh local produce and meat from the family farm, which is suitably complimented by our wine list.

Open the door to any of our beautifully presented ensuite bedrooms and the emphasis on stepping back in time continues, which is the essence of Waterford House. Feel further cossetted and allow your relaxation to be enhanced with complimentary sherry and home made cakes in all rooms.

It was a delightful guest house, the patrons giving a first class service from the home made food, eg. Mueslie, jams, marmalade etc. the abundant amount of fresh fruit available, cooked breakfast was made fresh, rather unusual these days,the cleanliness of the rooms was second to none.
