The Old Rectory was our favourite B&B out of the 7 we stayed in while walking Hadrian's walk. The rooms are well appointed and everything is spotless clean. As we were leaving early to catch the train home so we expected a cold breakfast but no, Lyn was up before us to cook are personal breakfast choice. If you are passing this way then I strongly recommend that you stay here.
