This friendly, 2 star hotel comprises two gracious listed Victorian houses (circa 1870) positioned on the elegant, tree lined Victoria Square in the heart of the cosmopolitan Clifton and is less than a mile from Bristol city centre. All of the hotel's 41 en-suite bedrooms overlook the picturesque square. There is a bar and restaurant for your convenience and a small private car park (on a first come first served basis) with unrestricted local on-street parking.

Mary Grace Rielly Family Visit United Kingdom Stayed: 27/04/2012 - 29/04/2012	5 Good. It's what I often get for £50-£60 a night. Cleanish, mattresses need changing. Lots of hot water available for a relaxing bath. Nothing spectacular but it's ok.

Dining Room staff helpful and attentive. Only negative was that it did not appear to be wheelchair friendly. My wife has mobility problems and asked for ground floor room - trouble was ground floor is down stairs (land behind front of house slopes away), and wasn't informed of this at time of booking! Rating would have been 5 without disabled problems.

Good location. Not much help from front desk regarding room key (and we were up at the very top of the bulding).
