Victoria Lodge, Lynton

Victoria Lodge is a large elegant house in the pretty village of Lynton in Devon offering first class B&B accommodation.

The hotel, with its Victorian theme, has a very warm welcoming atmosphere, where guests can relax in sumptuous surroundings. The rich décor and antique furniture take you back to the Victorian era, with the emphasis on quality and comfort. Lynton and Lynmouth are situated in one of the most beautiful areas in the South West, and provide an excellent base from which to explore Exmoor National Park and the Heritage Coast of North Devon.

Visitors have been coming to this corner of Devon since Victorian times, when the two villages became known as “ the little Switzerland of England “ due to the 600ft difference in height. There is a wealth of things to do and see in the area, whether you want an active holiday or just to relax and enjoy the wonderful countryside.

There are 8 comfortable bedrooms, named after Queen Victoria’s daughters and daughters-in-law, all decorated in bright warm colours and dressed with beautiful drapes and furnishings. Each is individually designed, with comfortable beds draped with richly coloured fabrics, a soft seating area, colour TV, and tea and coffee making facilities.

The sparkling en suite bathrooms are very modern, but still have that touch of Victorian charm. Luxury bath sheets and hairdryers are provided.
