Valley House, Lynton

Valley House is a secluded Victorian country guest house hotel, five minutes walk from Lynton. Set into the rock face high above the West Lyn River, the house provides magnificent views of National Trust woodland and the sea.

All our rooms are stylishly decorated and have beautiful views of National Trust woodland and the sea. Every bedroom is en-suite and has tea and coffee making facilities, complimentary mineral water, hairdryer and colour TV.

From the balcony rooms, guests can enjoy the scenery sheltered from the elements. Alternatively, you can relax in the bar-lounge (well stocked with games) or on the front terrace overlooking the beautiful West Lyn Valley and Bristol Channel. Enjoy breakfast or a superb supper in our new conservatory dining room. Packed lunches can be provided for walkers.

The North Devon coastline is one of the most dramatic and beautiful in England yet we are also blessed with some stunning beaches. This area is a walkers paradise - we are close to the South West Coastal path and many great walks start from our front door.

You can walk to Lynmouth harbour and Valley of Rocks in under 15 minutes. We have a great horse riding centre nearby that cater for riders of all abilities. The horse and ponies are excellent, so are the instructors and guides, and you will be riding on open moorland. Make sure to bring and apple.
