Valentine House B&B
Valentine House is situated in a quiet garden square in the centre of Brighton and boasts 3 stars. This Regency style town house was said to be built by Amon Wilds Jnr, the well known Brighton architect in 1825 when George IV held court at the Royal Pavilion.

All of our rooms are centrally heated with all but one providing ensuite facilities (shower & toilet).

Guests are provided with main door keys to give 24 hour access.

the room was a nice size, clean an tidy, nice decor, on suite also nice decor an clean. in face apart from us finding bed a pillows abit on hard side an causing rather abit of discomfort to back and neck, the whole exprinance was very pleasent, would reconmend an would stay again

Quick overnight stay, sufficient for our needs, but excellent service by the girl on duty who also made us a fantastic breakfast. all in all good value for money, parking a little trysome but advise taking the guesthouse suggestions for parking unlike ourselves who paid astronomical fee for 2 hours

if you are on a budget this place is perfect, the bedding was clean, the en-suite was small but clean, the breakfast was alright, usual cereals and a full english, like i said if you are on a budget you get what you pay for, the only issue we met was parking no parking outside the hotel between 9-00 am and 8-00 pm, you have to pay in the multi storey at the end of the road

we were greeted on arrival the guest house looked quite nice inside and out just old!!!! the room was clean and tidy, nice bedcovers and we had ensuite which was clean also! just a bit of black round the seal in shower nothing major!! we had the only room with a balcony and it was lovely although not a sea view but lovely to have it! breakfast was ok but cheap ingridients but we did only pay £65 for both of us for double ensuite room with breakfast on a friday night!!! so overall was very good value and we had our own key so come back in the evening whenever we liked! we would stay here again!!!

We booked Valentine House but upon arrival were told we were staying in Churchill House down the road. It was pleasant enough and very private - the only downside was that we had to go back to Valentine House for breakfast, and the walls seemed a bit thin as we could hear the couple next door most of the night! But all in all a very enjoyable stay.

Valentine House is ideal for couples not for a family. Been here before because the location is perfect for restaurants, shopping, walks along the sea side etc. It is always a surprise which nationality is the caretaker in Valentine's House :)
