Welcome to the Residence & Catering Services website, which provides information on the meeting, accommodation and catering facilities at a range of venues belonging to the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow.
There is a variety of accommodation on offer for you from our ideally situated city centre Campus Village, and our Jordanhill Campus in the west end, to the university's stunning conference and recreational centre - Ross Priory - on the banks of Loch Lomond.
We can help you to organise a conference here at the university including the booking of the meeting rooms, catering and accommodation, and the co-ordination of the event. Detailed below is an extensive range of meeting facilities from modern lecture theatres and meeting rooms, to a 17 th century Priory and a 19 th century church! All are available for your use.
We can offer you two stunning venues for your wedding or for any other special occasions that you may be organising, from the spectacular Barony, a Victorian gothic church dating from 1889 in Glasgow city centre, with its renowned architecture and beautiful stained-glass windows, to Ross Priory, a unique and fascinating 17th century house situated in an unrivalled position on the southern banks of Loch Lomond with stunning views of the loch and surrounding countryside.
Situated in the very heart of Glasgow, the University is ideally located for visitor attractions, restaurants, shops, theatres and cinemas. Glasgow is a vibrant, cosmopolitan city, famed for its culture, its architecture, its nightlife and its green spaces. It offers a wealth of activities to visitors, from galleries and museums, to superb shops and a vast range of restaurants and cafes.
Glasgow's many galleries and museums are popular with visitors, from the award-winning Burrell Collection with over 8,000 art objects and Pollok House, one of Scotland's finest Georgian country houses, both set in Pollok Park in Glasgow city-centre; the Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, the most popular free visitor attraction in Scotland; to the Gallery of Modern Art offering paintings, sculptures and installations from around the world.
