Ugie House Hotel
Ugie House Hotel is situated on the main road (A96) between Aberdeen & Inverness. The Ugie House Hotel is highly convenient for business stay over's or for business meetings, we have a conference room that is ideal for up to 20 guests or our main hall for larger functions or meetings. Ugie House Hotel consists of 10 bedrooms with on-suite facilities and tea & coffee making facilities are available in every room.

Ugie House was once a private residence and in later years served the Keith community as a doctor's surgery. Ugie House changed names and took on the new title as Ashleigh Lodge. After a few years of trading as Ashleigh Lodge it changed names again, this time trading under the name of the Strathisla Hotel. In 1992, after a lot of changes to the main building - formerly known as Strathisla Hotel, changed back to Ugie House Hotel and has been trading under that title ever since.

The restaurant can comfortably accommodate 50 guests and the relaxing and comfortable lounge is an ideal place to have pre meal drinks or to have liquor coffee afterwards. Would you consider having your wedding at the Ugie House Hotel, our function facility can accommodate 100-140 guests for a meal and up to 200 guests for the dance.

Tiny room not really a problem. Bed springs all felt through the bottom sheet. Bed linen spotless. Room needed a good clean especially the bathroom tiles and rusty loo roll holder. Staff friendly. Food reasonable.

I scheduled a meeting room at the Agie House to meet a group of relatives for the first time. This was all done by e-mail from the U.S. They were very responsive to my e-mail request and put everything into motion. The original arrangements were for approximately 10-12 people. They would have a meeting room and would provide coffee, tea, sandwiches and sweets. We were so pleased, but caught off guard when approximately 26 people showed up. The Ugie staff quickly added additional food and took care of everything so I could enjoy my newly met relatives! Wonderful facility and excellent staff!!!
