Tudor Farmhouse Hotel, Coleford

This idyllic and charming house conceals a host of original characteristics including exposed stonework, oak beams, wall panelling and open inglenook fireplaces. Good quality food is served in the delightful restaurant. Bedrooms are individually styled and thoughtfully equipped, located in the main house and two converted cottages.

Nestling in the picturesque village of Clearwell, the Tudor Farmhouse Hotel provides an ideal setting for a relaxed and tranquil stay within the Royal Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley. The hotel, reputed to have been originally built in the 13th century, retains many original features including oak beams and wooden spiral staircases.

There are 22 well-appointed double, twin and family rooms, all with en-suite facilities and some with four poster beds or Jacuzzi corner baths. Our 2 AA Rosette candlelit restaurant is both intimate and comfortable with superb food from our a la carte menu. Private parties can also be catered for and business guests can hold meetings in our function room for up to 25 guests.

All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, as well as tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial telephones with baby listening facilities, hairdryers, complimentary water, flat screen televisions with satellite channels, movies on demand and internet access (either via the television, or wirelessly with your laptop).

A number of rooms are large enough to accommodate a z bed or cot which can be hired for a charge of £5 per night. Children under 6 stay free of charge. Two of our superior rooms will accommodate those traveling with pets. The hotel is non-smoking.
