Torwood House Hotel
Torwood House is a small early Victorian family run hotel situated in a quiet part of Penzance yet within an easy walk of the town centre and sea front. Tastefully furnished and decorated throughout.

All rooms are en suite with tea/coffee facilities, flat screen tv with dvd player, hairdryer and free wifi.

We are a short drive from the historical St Michaels Mount and the famous outdoor theatre The Minack.

Check in from 4pm though if you contact us for an earlier arrival this can be arranged. Latest check out time is 10.30pm. Children welcome.

CANCELLATION

We take a first nights deposit which is non refundable and if youn cancel 14 days before your arrival there is no charge. After that period any room nights we are unable to relet my be charged to you.

Directions:

By car on entering Penzance take the seafront road, go along for about a mile and then turn right at the mini roundabout this is Alexandra Road and we are located halfway up on the right hand side. If you arrive by train or bus you can take a taxi which will take about 5 minutes or if you walk take the seafront road and got along for a mile to mini roundabout and then turn right and we are halfway up Alexandra Road on the right hand side.

Very comfortable stay and both us and our two dogs were made to feel very welcome. An early breakfast was no problem so that we could catch ferry to Isles of Scilly and then on our return when Lynda saw how tired one of the dogs were she moved us straight into a downstairs room. Brilliant. Lovely couple, nothing too mu

Torwood House was as presented on the website. It was good value for the low cost - friendly and clean. Breakfast was not fancy but more than adequate. Our only concerns were that the house was not within walking distance of the train station especially with luggage. Also, prospective guests should be informed that some rooms are three flights up a narrow staircase. Overall we found this B&B satisfactory.
