Tighn Eilean Guest House
Tigh'n Eilean is an elegant Victorian house overlooking the River Tay in the charming highland village of Aberfeldy. Recommended in Holiday Which magazine, our aim is to give our guests a comfortable, enjoyable and memorable stay. Tigh'n Eilean is an ideal base from which to tour the Highlands.

Scotland's cities are within easy driving distance, as are both the East and West coasts. It is also a perfect location for hillwalking, trout and salmon fishing, pony trekking, bowling, tennis, and, of course, golf - Aberfeldy's 18-hole course is a minute's walk away. Other nearby amenities include a sports centre and swimming pool. Come and enjoy a special break amid peaceful surroundings - we look forward to welcoming you to Tigh'n Eilean.

Tigh'n Eilean offers a quality of accommodation in Perthshire second to none. Each bedroom has been individually decorated in its own unique style, while maintaining the character of this traditional Victorian home. All rooms are fully equipped with remote control colour TV, hair dryers, hospitality trays and central heating, with superb views across the river to the mountains.

We have twin and double bedrooms on the first floor (one with a luxurious jacuzzi); a downstairs bedroom is also available. Whatever the reason for your visit, be it romantic, leisure or a family treat, your time at Tigh'n Eilean will leave you relaxed and refreshed.

Relax in our beautiful lounge with its open fire, overlooking the front garden to the hills beyond. In our elegant cosy dining room we serve traditional breakfasts, and if you would like to dine here in the evening we have an excellent reputation for delicious home-cooked food. We can also cater for any special dietary requirement you may have.

We stayed at Tighn Eilean over the New Year Period from 30/12/09 until 03/01/10. Despite some of the coldest weather and deepest snow for decades the guest house was wonderfully warm and comfortable. We were made very welcome and had a terrific stay in the beautifully clean and well cared for house. We had excellent service from the family who run the the guest house. They were attentive to our needs and flexible to our requests without stifling us. Breakfast was lovely and was really everything you could ask for. Our stay at Tighn Eilean was better than many hotels we have stayed in. Aberfeldy is situated in the centre of Perthshire which is a wonderful part of the county and an idea place to expore from. We fully expect to be back in the future.
