Unique small Country Guest House set against Thornthwaite Forest and with uninterupted views overlooking the Derwent Valley across to the mountains. Comfortable well furnished rooms with hair dryers, tea and coffee making facilities and televisions. Start the day with a full English breakfast served in our comfortable dining room. The views from the hotel and grounds are spectacular and are a favourite of bird watchers, photographers and artists whilst forest and fell walks start immediately behind the hotel or up through the ancient village of 'Seldom Seen'. Thwaite Howe and the surrounding district are some of the Northern Lake Districts real and exceptional gems.
