A visitor to the Three Crowns cannot fail to capture the almost timeless atmosphere of a building that has centuries of historical associations. Chagford is a welcome paradise for the Walker , Angler, nature lover and golfing enthusiast set in this most beautiful and secluded part of the Dartmoor National Park .
Although the bedrooms have increasingly been provided with modern furnishings. The main feature of many of the rooms is the fine four poster bed which is in keeping with the character of this one time manor house. This means journey times from London (and it's major airports) are less than 4 hours. The main railway line for the area runs through both Exeter and Newton Abbot making Chagford only a short bus or taxi journey away. The local airports are in both Exeter and Plymouth. There are regular flights to the rest of the country from both of these airports.
