The Waverley
A warm welcome awaits you at The Waverley from resident proprietors. Stephen & Julie Ward assure a friendly personal service to all of our guests. We are proud to be Whitby's first Green Tourism accredited guest house, having achieved a gold rating at our first audit.

The Waverley is situated on Whitby's famous West Cliff and is thus very conveniently positioned for the Promenade, beach, harbour and shops. We have are 3 parking spaces (please enquire for availability stating the make and model of the car) or, alternatively there is plenty of free 'on street' parking on Crescent avenue.

Given all the variables to consider when looking for a place to stay, I can say without hesitation, I would return to the Waverly without hesistation. Located at the doorstep of the city's main attraction and a stone's throw from the RR station, the views were scenic and the nights quiet given the metro setting. Staff was always helpful and polite. The bar and tea available anytime. Marks and Spencers and the Mall very close. The hotel represents Classic Old Elegance and is worth your time. Enjoy... We sure did!
