The Waterfront
Welcome to The Waterfront, Anstruther!
Described as "One of the treasures of the East Neuk," The Waterfront was proudly opened in May 2003, hosting a 55 seat a' la carte restaurant. Personally run, The Waterfront has Anstruther's finest location situated just a few steps from Anstruther's harbour and marina with views over the Firth of Forth.
During the warmer months we boast al fresco dining to the front and a mature courtyard for relaxing to the rear. We aim to cater for all tastes. Varied Seafood selections, chef's specials, children's menu, delicious coffee and cakes.
April 2004 saw the completion of our 3-4 star award winning luxury apartments and Guest Rooms that are available on a weekly or bed and breakfast basis.
The Waterfront seafood selection is surely there to impress boasting freshly delivered fish from local markets including oriental scallops, citrus salmon, stuffed seabass, steamed mussels and a true Scottish favourite that has stood the test of time; good old Fish and Chips.
The Sweet Menu has a selection of delights to satisfy the most demanding lover of chocolate, cream, fruits and cheesecakes etc,the only issue is what one to choose. The Waterfront will provide you with a filling breakfast, a light meal of our lunch specials, a hearty dinner or simply coffee.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Waterfront which included an excellent menu with friendly staff. Minor points would be the yard drain leading tothe accomodation always seemed to be spilling onto yard. Hot plates to accompany very good food.Excellent value.

The PLeasure on the Waterfront' We spent a night at The Waterfront on route to Aberdeen. We were tired and had travelled from the north of England that day. We were offered a beautiful room with all the facilities that could possibly be required in the utmost comfort. After a walk and some exploring of this delightful fishing town, we were thrilled to be able to dine in the excellent restaurant with such a wonderful variety of tasty fare, in particular the choice of fish. The same was true of breakfast. Cheerful and helpful staff or stay was a joy. Highly recommended, we will be back.

Review' I went with my Husband and two friends to stay in the waterfront, we were all very impressed with the accommodation and staff, and liked all the extra touches including bottled water, and toiletries in the bathroom. We loved the kingsize beds, you don't ever see that anywhere else. I give it 5 out of 5 top marks and so well deserved.

'Waterfront' We stayed for 2 nights in may. Our room was fabulous, very spacious with tasteful interior. Comfortable large bed and lovely bathroom. Unfortunately, there were no racks for wet towels but this was just a minor inconvenience. The food in the restaurant was wonderful, a very high standard. We were so impressed that we have rebooked for 2 nights in July.

I was supporting a person with special needs to go on holiday. We stayed at the Waterfront hotel, which was a lovely charming accomodation ajoined next to the Waterfront Restaurant, anstruther Scotland. The accomodation was of high standards, and very good value for money. We were given a 'family' room which consisted of one double and 3 single both beds, divided by a well furbished, immaculate bathroom. There was 3 televisions which was ideal as for both our needs and meant we could both have our own individual space yet share an apartment. The staff welcomed us warmly and showed us around - The restaurant staff were attentive and the food especially the fish was good. All the staff were helpful especially cleaning staff who wentthe extra mile with their attention to detail and our stay so special. Anstruther is a lovely small charming sea-side hamlet with great routes by bus which enabled us to travel easly around the east of scotland 'east neuk' coastal route. There was lots of
