The Sycamore Guest House, York

This Edwardian property, originally built as a gentleman's residence around 1904, is now a small family run guest house. Standing in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking a bowling green, we are only 6 minutes walk, through the Museum Gardens, to the famous Minster and the City Centre. The guest house is only 10 minutes walk or a short taxi ride from York railway station with its excellent rail links to the rest of England. Guests can enjoy comfortable accommodation, wholesome food, service with a warmth and friendliness that will ensure you feel at home from the moment you arrive. We try to provide good value for money and an informal atmosphere in which you can truly relax.

There is so much to do it's hard to choose. The Minster, the Shambles, Jorvik, the Castle and Railway Museums are the most well known and are all worth extended visits.
