The Steading
Ballieward Steading is a traditional detached stone-built cottage converted from an old croft steading. It is adjacent to the owner’s house surrounded by beautiful gardens in a quiet country location.

Set in the Cairngorms National Park, the Steading is only 1 ½ miles from the Highland town of Grantown-on-Spey. This immaculate property is maintained to the highest standards. It is fully equipped and the price includes electricity, white bed linen and towels

Tasteful décor and comfortable, modern furnishings (including satellite TV) combine to make this a delightful holiday home.

It is near to the Whisky Trail, the Strathspey Steam Railway, the Cairngorm funicular, Loch Ness and the Loch Garten Osprey Centre.

Take a trip to the many impressive mountains, castles, rivers and lochs in the surrounding area. It is the perfect location for walking, cycling, fishing, golf, bird watching, ski-ing and water sports.

There are many other outdoor pursuits to enjoy - or simply relax and savour the peace and tranquility of the countryside. The nearby town of Grantown-on-Spey offers a selection of shops, leisure facilities and a supermarket.

There is no shortage of places to eat and drink locally with a good selection of hotels, restaurants, pubs and coffee shops.

Thank you for a lovely cottage with lots of finishing touches which are appreciated. An excellent base for cycling, walking - and reasonable weather too!!
