The Sailmakers Loft B&B
The Sailmaker's Loft is a small, family run, 1 star B&B situated in the heart of the Old Town.

The house was originally a warehouse that was converted by the owner's great grandmother to a dwelling house in 1932. Mrs. Glover used to house Naval Officers until the second world war broke out and then she was ordered not to. After the conflict her family, who had been bombed out, lived there until the last relative sold the property to the current owner and he converted it back into a Bed & Breakfast.

All our ensuite rooms have seaviews over the Solent and Portsmouth Harbour.

Excellent! The location was perfect, the accommodation was very comfortable, very good value for money and I received a very friendly welcome. I'd highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Portsmouth.

Scored 5 out of 6. Lovely little B and B. Clean, friendly. AMAZING sea views from the double room (which was kindly given at reduced rate because the single was full). My only criticism is that breakfast finished at 9am on a Sunday (not ideal!!). Would happily stay again.
