The Rossborough Hotel, Dunbar

The Rossborough Hotel, built in 1902 is a landmark hotel in Dunbar, East Lothian There are many of the original Edwardian features intact, stained glass windows, Oak staircase and Art Noveau fireplaces. The décor is sympatric to the period of the hotel and is designed to give an ambiance of subdued elegance while offering modern facilities.

Rooms are on three levels and consist of single, twin and double many of our double rooms have king-size beds. All 19 en-suite bedrooms are dressed with crisp white linen and fluffy towels; A hospitality tray; colour television with Sky Channels; direct dial telephone and hairdryer. We offer a standard of facilities and service expected of a quality hotel, to ensure your stay is a comfortable one. We specialise in Scottish golfing breaks, with over 20 golf courses within 30 minutes drive of the Hotel. We also cater forFishing and walking holidays and shooting parties, all in the beautiful surroundings of coastal Dunbar. Traditional Cooked Breakfast is served either in the Carlisle Suite or Ritchie's Restaurant from 7am to 9am before or after these hours Light Breakfast only.

Ritchie's Restaurant offers top quality A la Carte menus, made with locally farmed beef, fresh fish, local vegetables and fruit. Many of the herbs come from our own herb garden. The menu is constantly being updated to include new and exciting dishes created by our Chef, Richard Baird. A full range of wines to accompany the food is available from our well stocked cellar.

The Stones Bar and Bistro offers popular food made with the same quality ingredients at affordable prices. Food is served all day, making Stones Bistro suitable for Lunch or Early Evening Meals. All diet requirements are catered for. The locally brewed Belhaven Best is from Dunbar's own Belhaven Brewery located on the Spott Road near the Hotel.

The conservatory lounge makes a quiet place for a coffee and chat while watching Dunbar life pass by. On a fine day the covered beer garden/outdoor seating area/smoking area makes a pleasant setting for lunch or drinks.
