A very pleasant hotel, friendly staff and excellent food with a good choice. A spacious clean room and a jet-spa bath, we even had a balcony with table and chairs to sit and enjoy a pre dinner drink. Excellent.

Had a fab New Year here with friends - will be taking my dog next time as it is pet friendly. The pier is across the road from the hotel and it is a 15 minute walk into Ambleside. Excellent food and good staff.

Nearby Attractions:

Fell walking, sailing on Lake Windermere and exploring Galava Roman Fort through the beautiful Borrans Park are all a stone's throw from the Regent Hotel's front door.
Hawkshead, Grasmere, Windermere, Langdale and Coniston are all within a ten-minute drive or how about walking and stop in a traditional Lakeland inn for lunch?
