The Red Lion Inn, Daventry

Hellidon is a picturesque conservation village with many of the properties built in locally quarried stone. It also boasts a tennis, croquet and fishing club which residents of the Red Lion have complimentary use of. There are three golf courses in the area,one on the doorstep and the other two within five miles. The area is very popular with Ramblers and during the winter months rough and driven shooting is available as well as hunting and many other country pursuits.

Both the lounge and public bars are typical of a Country Inn, with open fires and a wood burning stove and plenty of interesting country prints adorning the walls, as well as a good local atmosphere. Traditional Northamptonshire Skittles are also played here.

The dining room offers an extensive menu with a daily special board also, and is open both lunchtimes and evenings. Our well appointed function room with a seating capacity of sixty for dinner or fifty for a dinner dance is also most suitable for business conferences, meetings or trade shows and particularly well suited to wedding receptions.
