The Plaisterers Arms
You should have no problems in finding this 18th Century pub as it is on the main B4632 which runs right through the middle of Winchcombe past the pub. Quite a large multi-level pub with 2 bars. Ideal stop off point for a large group. Went there once with 44 on a cold December afternoon and they hardly batted an eyelid.

Quick, friendly service and very good beer, some of it brewed in Winchcombe itself. The local brewery is called Goffs and two of their beers are usually on offer; Jouster (abv 4%), a fruity and malty tawny-coloured award winning beer, and White Knight (abv 4.7%), a paler and stronger premium bitter. A good pub for food as although the choice isn't enormous the food is cooked fresh and they've some good specials.

No i did not stay at the Plaisters Arms as nobody replyed to my email in relation to accomedation, and when i phone to enquire i spoke to a very unhelpful lady, which i found a shame as the Plaisters Arms came recommended to me.

The room was pleasant and a nice size. The only slight moan was that the bottom tiles in the shower had some mould on them. Breakfast nice. Evening food fantastic - they've got a very good chef. My friend and I would happily stay there again.

Bedrooms clean & tidy, but very small. A lot of noise at night, but then it is a pub. Breakfast not suited to healthy eating.

Stayed here for three nights in August, B&B. Room 1 was huge, adequately furnished, clean and confortable. No frills, but fine if you just want somewhere to put your head down for the night. Didn't eat here in the evenings, but the breakfasts were superb.
