The Old Stocks Hotel
The Old Stocks Hotel is situated in the Market Square and fronts onto the village green where the original 17th Century Penal stocks still stand.

The Hotel offers a unique combination of 'old and new' - still there are old oak beams and exposed Cotswold stone walls and an open fire in the bar, but ever mindful of the modern day traveller, each of our own eighteen bedrooms has bathroom en suite, refreshment tray, radio, direct dial telephone and colour television. Our friendly and efficient staff will always do their best to ensure that your stay is completely enjoyable.

Whether in the privacy of your room, in the bar or the restaurant, in the lounge or the secluded garden and patio, our hospitality offers a welcome to which we hope you will return.

Having booked the "Old Stocks Hotel on site from the internet we were unaware of what to expect when we arrived, and we were certainly not disappointed in our choice of accommodation. Congratulations to the owners and staff who were courteous, extremely helpful and welcoming, the meals were excellent, especially the English breakfasts and the rooms most adequate for our needs. I would thoroughly recommend “Old Stocks Hotel” to any overseas traveller who wished to experience the most beautiful part of England with warmth and welcome
