Very pleasant B&B.. i found initial info.on web a bitt misleading. You qouted rooms from £35. I ended up paying £50. Admittedly I had an ensuite double. But would have preferred a cheaper room really. Perhaps the single were all taken. No complaints about the place at all.

Nice accommodation within easy walking distance of the village of Lacock. Friendly hostess ---- my only disappointment was the breakfast provided, some of which had been kept on a hot plate and was cool when served.

Stayed at the Old Rectory. Comfortable rooms but bathrooms dated and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast needs to be of a better standard with quality cereals and bacon/ sausage on the cooked breakfast. Could be an excellent B&B with a bit more effort and does not currently merit 4 stars. Good location for Lacock

Very impressive guesthouse, the room had a four poster bed and there was lots of space for the children. Large drawing room for our use also. Lovely breakfast, would definitely stay again.

This is a beautiful large Victorian house with large impressive rooms and bathrooms. It is very clean and the hostess very welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic - lovely hot, fresh produce and far more than we could eat. It is a perfect place to stay if visiting Lacock.

One of the reasons I booked this place is that it had an award for it's breakfasts. I must say that I was very disappointed. We sat at a table set for 4 (there were only 2 of us) and bearing in mind we had the option of cereals before breakfast, there was only about 3 inches of milk in the jug. Although receiving an award for using local produce, I am afraid my one and only Wiltshire sausage was very burned. I also asked for coffee which was only luke warm. I have had better breakfasts at ASDA. Anyway, I could not fault our room - The Vestry, the bathroom was lovely and there were added extras such as shampoo, shower caps etc. The hostess was very charming and the Rectory was a lovely place to stay, it was just the breakfast that let it down (please also add beans!)
