Dating from the 17th century The Old Mill Hotel was formerly the farmhouse attached to the corn mill. The hotel provides a tranquil atmosphere set amidst the stunning Yorkshire Wolds countryside, providing easy access to the “Wolds Way” and many other relaxing country walks and pursuits.

It is also within short distance of the heritage coastline, ryedale, the North York moors ('Heartbeat country'), Dalby Forest (popular for off roading events) and the seaside resorts of Bridlington and Scarborough. Both Beverley and York are nearby providing other attractions such as two racecourses, museums, the Yorvik Viking centre and their respective historic minster's. A comfortable hotel, ideally & remotely situated in the countryside to the north of Driffield. Good food & friendly Staff.

Good overall. Pros: Very friendly family run small hotel,tasteful decor and spotlessly clean. Bedrooms comfortable, excellent facilities and finishing touches, like bathrobes and little extras in bathrooms. Quiet rural location, surrounded by fields, down a peaceful country lane. Hospitable owners made one feel welcome with 3 delightful labradors; a plus for dog lovers. Cons: Service at meal times slow and food looked better than it tasted. Meals, wine and phone calls rather expensive, though accommodation and breakfast reasonable value. Front entrance approached from rear car park a little off putting. Would stay again but maybe eat elsewhere at night.

Warm, welcoming, friendly, very clean and I would recommend anyone to stay - even as a lone person I did not feel at all out of place.

wonderful relaxing stay, dogs loved it too. Food excellent also cask ales! Rooms spotlessly clean - mwould recommend hotel.

stayed for a relaxing weekend break with our dogs. Staff very welcoming and food excellent, rooms spotlessly clean although decor looked a bit tired. However the owner did say the rooms are being refurbished. would highly recommend the hotel

great hotel. Very clean and a little out of Driffield, surrounded by meadows. Welcoming staff and breakfast filling. Would stay again if we ever return.
