The Old Brewery Guest House
A stones throw from the River Swale, at the foot of the castle and just a few minutes from the largest cobbled market place in Britain, the house retains its old world charm, is tastefully decorated, and offers every modern comfort. Each guest room enjoys attractive views and has a private bathroom or shower room. Guests also have the use of the communal sitting room with an open fire, TV, and a small library of books and periodicals. Guests are also free to relax in our peaceful patio garden.

For breakfast one can choose from cereals and fresh fruit followed by a traditional English breakfast or smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Freshly baked bread and croissants are also available.

Located in the oldest part of this historic town overlooking the green, with views of the castle. In summer it is recognised by its hanging baskets, award winning gardens, and has an attractive mews garden to the rear. There is a cosy lounge with lots to read and the dining room overlooks the garden. Home made muffins at breakfast coupled with delicious local cooked produce provide a hearty start to the day.
