The Mount
Welcome to the Mount.This small interesting Georgian building is full of character and charm. It is set in a private semi-walled garden with large and handsome trees, making it a peaceful haven so close to the town centre.

All eight bedrooms have been tastefully decorated and furnished. They are all en suite and equipped with colour televisions. A recent addition is a ground floor bedroom which is a particular advantage for those guests to whom stairs are a problem.
The town centre of Bideford is only a short walk away. It is an historic and interesting town with its quay, narrow streets and medieval bridge.

The Mount is a convenient base for exploring the beautiful North Devon coast line with its sandy beaches and rugged cliffs. Both Exmoor and Dartmoor are within easy reach for excursions and Bideford is the departure point for trips to Lundy. At Westward Ho! you will find the Royal North Devon Golf Club - the oldest golf course in England.

we really enjoyed our stay at the mount had a lovely room enjoyed our freshly cooked breakfast every morning all the staff were extremley pleasant and nothing was too much trouble bideford is a ideal place to use as a base for touring north devon and i would thoroughly recommend you stay at the mount.
