The Mary Rose Hotel
The Mary Rose is to be found in the heart of St Mary Cray, an ancient village conveniently located near the M20 just 5 minutes from the M25. There is a frequent, fast, railway service from St Mary Cray main-line station, taking just 25 minutes to Victoria in the heart of London.

This is the ideal location for visitors to the South East of England, close to London yet offering quick and easy access to the Motorway network. A perfect base for both tourists and business travellers.

This delightful 16th-century inn has been recently renovated and extended to provide modern, comfortable, hotel facilities while retaining its original charm. There are forty-six rooms in all, ranging from some single rooms in the original building to modern single, double, triple and family rooms all with en-suite bathrooms. There are two delightful Bridal/VIP Suites, both with traditional four-poster beds.

The new courtyard, complete with medieval style minstrels' gallery provides apartments and motel style accommodation ideal for families and groups. All bedrooms have direct-line telephones, tea and coffee making facilities and colour television. The Mary Rose also offers a resident's lounge complete with colour satellite television for those who wish to sit and relax. These excellent facilities have earned The Mary Rose the English Tourism Council's 5 Diamonds rating.

The manager and staff were really friendly and the bar was very cosy. I felt really relaxed hanging out there. However, the room was not quite up to scratch, the net curtains were a bit grubby but apart from that...."you get what you pay for". I enjoyed my stay.

The only thing wrong was that the restaurant was not open and we had to walk out on a very windy night. Otherwise everything else was fine
