The privately run Lodge Hotel was built in the 1830s and has recently been refurbished to create a small friendly place to stay. All 8 bedrooms are non-smoking, en suite, have tv's, DVD players, hairdryers and tea & coffee making facilities. We also have a comfortable self contained Suite that sleeps up to 4 people and 2 quaint cottages. The cottages are adjacent to the hotel and each sleeps 2-6 people and are self- contained. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the cottages. A court yard / garden is available for the sole use of residents to sit and enjoy the sun. We also have a small private car park . Our Saints Restaurant / function room comfortably caters for between 20-80 guests (sit down) and we can offer a flexible choice of menus and a generous discount for block bookings of all the rooms. The hotel is positioned between the coastal resorts of Salcombe and Hope Cove, which are best known for their superb accessible beaches, meandering craggy coastal paths and breathtaking views.The mild climate of the South Hams area makes it a superb destination all the year round and the hotel is ideal for everything from one night stops, special weekends to longer family holidays and is the ideal base to explore the many attractions an beaches of the area. All room rates include continental breakfast. A full English breakfast is available at £5.50 per person and must be arranged by 7pm on the day before.
