The Lismore Hotel, Banbury

The Lismore Hotel is friendly and informal. It is a very comfortable and tastefully furnished Victorian home. All rooms have private bathrooms, colour television with Freeview, direct dial telephones, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, fresh orange juice and provisions for tea and coffee making. There is full central heating throughout. Our two ‘Honeymoon’ suites both have four poster beds to add to the special occasion. The hotel has a small conference room suitable for up to 15 delegates.

An extensive choice of freshly prepared food is available throughout the day, and can be taken in the restaurant or the bar. The wine list is comprehensive. There are fine wines as well as a good choice of more moderately priced wines from Spain, Italy and Germany.

Patrons can also make use of our new wireless broadband facility.

All of our rooms are decorated to a standard much higher than you would normaly expect for a small local hotel. Each room has décor and furniture matched to its size, giving a warm ambience and undeniable quality. As we worked through the hotel we found out what a truly amazing building The Lismore Hotel is!.

Each room has Freeview television and fresh orange juice and mints to make you feel more welcome. There is an iron and ironing board in every room, and if your stay is longer than expected, we can even help with your laundry needs.

It's not only the bedrooms which are draped in beauty and quality. The original bar is warm and friendly with oak panelling on the walls, and a wonderful log fire. The well stocked bar will help you unwind from a long journey, or hard day at work, or will just provide refreshments to accompany your meal. We have a large collection of wines, spirits and traditional beers to choose from.
