The Hare and Barrel Hotel
Built in 1810 the Hare and Barrel is a very friendly family run country hotel whose main block of rooms were converted from the original Coach House and Stables when it was the local manorhouse. We now boast a Restaurant noted for good food, Bar, Games room, Conservatory, Patio, Beer Garden, Car park, Bar and guest Courtyard.

Only a quarter of a mile from the centre of Watton, a market town dating back to the Domesday book, we can offer you a very warm welcome whether on holiday , business, or visiting friends.

This hotel is really a 'pub' with rooms. The rooms need some upgrading especially the extremely small en suite. The en suite was dirty especially so the grouting around the tiles, there was nowhere to put anything whilst in the shower except the toilet seat. The lunch we had on arrival was pretty expensive. The breakfast was ok if you like your egg etc swimming in fat. on the up side the staff were friendly.
