The Gables Hotel
The Gables Guest House is a 4 star and pet friendly bed and breakfast popular with Ambleside's visitors. The house enjoys a fine reputation for quality and value, is stylishly furnished and decorated throughout with all the usual amenities you would expect of a modern B&B. Located in Ambleside on the edge of the central area with fine open views across parkland to the fells beyond.

Our spacious hotel dining room provides a grand setting for our extensive breakfast menu where we provide generous full traditional English fare or continental and vegetarian alternatives.

Lovely hotel in a great location for walking from. Took my parents and they thoroughly enjoyed themelves. It was a bonus to have adouble room on the ground floor due to disability in walking upstairs. Great breakfast!! Parking a bit of a pain.

Easy access to all Ambleside's many amenities, including cinemas, restaurants, pubs and attractions. It is about ten minutes walk to Lake Windermere with its suberb scenery and boating facilities.
