Nearby Attractions:

Ballykelly is a small attractive town three miles west of Limavady (The Leap of the Dog), where in 1851 Jane Ross noted down the famous Londonderry Air (Danny Boy) from a passing fiddler.
Limavady is situated in the beautiful Roe Valley, a must for anglers. From Limavady the Bishop's Head Road leads to Downhill, the Fortress of the Cows. Under the shadow of the Mussenden Temple built in 1783 by the eccentric Earl of Bristol then Bishop of Derry.
The magnificient Magilligan Strand stretches six miles from Downhill to the entrance of Lough Foyle. A visit to the Roe Valley Country Park which contains the site of O'Cahan Castle is a must.
