The Cross Keys is a family run hotel, the Cross Keys has recently undergone a major refurbishmet and now Ian and Sandra look forward to welcoming you to their historic and beautifully restored coaching inn. The eight superbly appointed bedrooms are all en-suite and some have sitting areas. The public rooms are equally lavishly decorated with the limed oak panelled bar one of the most attractive around. We also have a 2-bedroom cottage that sleeps 4 next to the hotel.
An interesting traditional bar menu with such tasty old fashioned favourites as their own steak and ale pie, minted lamb henrie, currys, snacks, salads, roast gammon and quality, locally reared, English beef are served lunch and dinner times.

The Hotel is surrounded by a wealth of history, Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, such as Leighton Moss, and a wide range of visitor attractions.

The accomodation was very clean and located centrally within the village, handy for shops and facilities as described. The tiny kitchen was well equipped except for the absence of a peeler & a grater. Breakfast was substantial but was only served until 9am (a bit early considering we were on holiday) and the landlord of the pub was brusque in his dealings with us almost to the point of curtness which marred our memories of what was otherwise an enjoyable stay.

The Cross Keys Hotel was a lovely place to stay. The room, people and staff were very nice, the meal we had in the evening was as good as the breakfast. We could not complain about anything, we will be returning a very enjoyable and relaxed evening.
