Situated on the east end of Dalkeith's High Street, overlooking the historic St Nicholas Buccleuch Parish Church which dates back to the 12th century, the three star County Hotel has something to suit all tastes and budgets.
Only seven miles from everything Edinburgh has to offer, with a frequent bus service taking you straight to Princes Street in the heart of the city, Dalkeith’s premier location, adjacent to the Edinburgh City Bypass, the A1 and the A7, is within easy access from all major transport networks, with Edinburgh International Airport located only twelve miles away and Waverley Train Station seven miles.

The Restaurant at The County Hotel has a range of food choices available to suit all dining preferences and budgets. We have a range of light snacks, a discounted ‘Early Supper’ selection, Spanish Tapas as well as an A La Carte and Children’s menu.
Bar
The Piano Bar has recently undergone refurbishment and is now the perfect place to meet and enjoy a leisurely drink. Our head barman James will mix to order with a wide range of soft drinks, wines, lagers, and beers available, as well as a great selection of Scottish Malt Whiskeys. A new menu featuring favourite cocktails is also soon to be introduced. Catherine also plays piano in the bar every Sunday from 2pm until 6pm.
