The Corner House
We are a family run Bed and Breakfast and pride ourselves on our hospitality. We offer a warm welcome to everyone in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Our charming late Georgian Grade II listed house has a lot of character and has been lovingly restored, with lots of original features, including a well underneath the dining room and a cellar we have still to find!

All of the rooms are spacious and airy with high ceiling, as you would expect with a house of this age.We have a number of family rooms, some ensuite, some with the most spectacular sea views. One is particularly suitable for families of 4 or more, with an adjoining room containing bunk beds. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities and TV.

We pride our selves on our service so should you have any special requests we will do our utmost to accommodate them-just ask!
A full English breakfast is served but we will assist with any special dietary requirements you may have wherever possible. Evening meals by arrangement-prior notice is required.

Off street parking is available. We are situated between Hunstanton and Old Town in a prominent position parallel to the Pitch and Putt golf course, overlooking the sea. We are lucky to have the most spectacular sunsets directly in front of the house.

Old Hunstanton is the quieter more traditional face of the resort. Originally a fishing village, it is a typically pretty West Norfolk Village with a number of good pubs, a post office\shop and an excellent championship links golf course. The beautiful sandy beach is a few minutes walk awayand stretches for miles along the North West Norfolk coastline, much of it designated an area of "Outstanding Beauty". There are a also a number of RSPB nature reserves nearby. In the opposite direction if you want something more lively, the bust seaside resort of Hunstanton is a 10 minute walk away. It offers a wealth of amusements and attractions for all.

In amendment to my last review, I must state that after some checking the information about the fire regulations are false all paperwork and regulations are fully up to date and in order my apologies to the very friendly owner, who has been through and assured me that all issues will be addressed and put right restoring this beautiful house to the standard it deserves

I stayed in this run down dilapidated house last night, or more to the fact as it was so disgusting I didn't stay, There were holes in the walls, the bathroom door never closed the bathroom itself not having a light, the decor while interesting and museum like in quality it was run down and filthy with mould growing everywhere so much I could taste it, the last straw came when I pulled back the covers and the sheets were dirty and stained, I promptly uped and left, when I booked into another place they told me the corner house had been shut down for not passing fire regulations and should not be accepting bookings if I could score in the minus I would. DO NOT STAY HERE

Excellent place to stay ! we arrived soaked on a motorcycle, the owner Joe gave us a very warm welcome along with two hot drinks and dry towels. Joe is an excellent cook and served a great breakfast each morning. We found the house very charming and Joe a great host with an excellent taste in music and art. We would both recomend staying and will definately return.

The owner Joe is very friendly and approachable from the start and the house is very qaint. We stayed in the family room and the children had an ensuite bedroom to ours with bunkbeds. A little disappointed that the television did not seem to work though which was a shame as after the kids went to bed we just had to occupy ourselves in a quiet room! I would recommend packing an extra sweater as the old style windows are very draughty and it got very cold in the morning. Overall, I would stay here again as the breakfast which Joe served us in the morning was fantastic. Lots of choice and a definate good start to the day!

Could have done with tea and coffee / tea making facilities and glasses / beakers for toothbrushing. Husband had to sleep on the floor due to bed being very old and extremely uncomfortable. Excellent breakfast and owner was very helpful.
