The Chestnuts is situated 5 minutes from the A140 near Long Stratton, surrounded by open fields in an easily accessible but quiet location.
We are an easy 20-minute drive from the beautiful medieval city of Norwich and the charming market towns of Diss, Bungay, Wymondham and Harleston.
The Norfolk Broads and the wide sweeping beaches of the East and North Norfolk coast are within easy reach.
Local attractions include Banham Zoo, Bressingham Steam Museum, and the famous Gardens of the Broome family – Foggy Bottom and the Dell Garden. The Forncett Steam Museum, The Dinosaur Park, Pleasurewood Hills Adventure Park, Thetford Forest “Go-Ape” treetop adventures (for older monkeys) plus walking and cycle ways in the forest. Snetterton race track, Flixton Air Museum plus fishing at Tas Valley and Weybread Pits.
