Directions:

By Road:
from The East: The A27 runs along the south coast from Lewes past Chichester. The best way to reach West Wittering is to follow the A27 towards Portsmouth until you reach Chichester. Once the A27 reaches Chichester it follows a path around the city via a number of roundabouts. Keep going on the A27 past the roundabout beside the retail park, and past the next two roundabouts. The fourth roundabout you reach is called the Stockbridge Roundabout, with a signpost to the Witterings (A286).

from The West: The A27 also goes west from Chichester, becoming the M27 between Chichester and Portsmouth. When coming from the west, join the M27 and head west past Portsmouth. Shortly after the Havant junction you will reach a roundabout beside a Tesco superstore (on your left). Stay on the A27 and the next roundabout (called the Stockbridge Roundabout) signposts The Witterings.

from The North: There are many routes from the north. Most involve heading south to reach the A/M27 and then heading east or west as necessary. Some methods of reaching the A27 are to either come down the M23, A24, M3, or by heading down the A29 through Billingshurst.

It was our first visit to the area and The Beach House was ideally placed for exploring the area. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The room was at the back of the hotel. It was large and well decorated with a lovely nautical theme. The bathroom was clean and had a large shower. The food in the restaurant was well cooked and presented. A very pleasant place to stay!

We booked a family room to accommodate my dog. It was lovely, very roomy and comfortable. The staff and proprietor were very attentive at breakfast and dinner. The fayre was very good, but the whole region was quite expensive for eating out. Lovely holiday, will definitely visit again.

We enjoyed both our evening meal and breakfast, the clean and peaceful room and most of all the ability to stay with our dog with very few restrictions. Recommended!

We had a very warm welcome on arrival. The room was nicely furnished and very pretty. We had an excellent breakfast the next morning and would visit again if we were in the area and would recommend the beach house to anyone else.

Lovely accommodation in the family room sleeping 5 plus dog. Direct access to outside (limited) space which was useful. Very good and helpful service, especially by Abbi. Good location. Very enjoyable stay.
