The Anvil Inn is a privately owned and maintained 16th Century thatched Hotel, Restaurant and Bar. Located in the pretty Dorset village of Pimperne, 2 miles from Blandford Forum, the hotel offers a fine and relaxing setting for holiday breaks and for business travelers.

Well situated for touring Dorset and visiting the surrounding counties of Hampshire, Somerset and Devon. The historic towns of Salisbury, Dorchester, Sherborne, Shaftsbury and Wimborne are all within easy reach, whilst Dorset's beautiful coastline including Bournemouth, Poole, Wareham and Weymouth are all less than 40 minutes away.

This 16th Century thatched hotel, located just outside of Blandford Forum, offers guests a comfortable stay in peaceful surroundings.

Took my parents to dinner. Food was very good. Especially the belly of pork, deep fried cod & summer pudding. Have now booked my birthday party at the Anvil

Just one night but it was very good, however they had not received the booking reference from yourselves so we paid the rate of £100. Otherwise, quite happy, A very good shower in our room
