Retaining many of its period features reflecting its long history, the Altnaharra Hotel has been lovingly and meticulously restored and is now a luxury Scottish Highland getaway for fishing and shooting enthusiasts, as well as those looking for a relaxing and tranquil retreat. Altnaharra is also an ideal location for 'Munro Baggers' as it sits beneath the beautiful Ben Klibreck and is only a 25 minute drive from the most Northerly Munro on the mainland, Ben Hope. The area is also popular with cyclists as it is commonly used as the 'last stop' on the Lands End to John O Groats trip heading North.

This fantastic 14 bedroom hotel is one of the finest sporting hotels in Europe, at the heart of one of the world’s greatest fishing destinations. Please be aware that the Hotel no longer operates the fuel pumps on the premises. Guests are advised that the nearest forecourts for filling up are in Lairg (South) and Tongue (North) but both have restricted operating hours, especially on Sundays.
